Still no photos

The recent weeks had been slightly busier than usual. I have not had any chance to do any update nor did I get any opportunity to swing my beloved camera into action. But worry not, I'll be off on holiday for a week (the week after next) - there'll be plenty of chances to shoot some lovely pictures (weather permitting!). Can't wait

I'll be staying up late tonight, primarily to write up something for my research paper which I hope to publish later this year and secondarily (ie most importantly ) I don't want to miss live Australian F1 ( at 4.00 in the morning ).

Nothing particularly interesting

Out of boredom and plain ol' curiosity, I hooked up my Mac to my Motorola phone and connect to the internet through GPRS. It worked flawlessly most excellent! The speed ( or more correctly the bandwidth) was not that brilliant but bearable. I guess my home w/less broadband will not be toppled over from its throne.

No photos this week, not been out long enough to find anything worth shooting. The weather has been typically British ie wet windy and mostly cloudy with odd sunshines in places where people don't actually live.

My Smart ForTwo is up for sale if anybody is interested

Good Bye and Welcome!!

Now come to papa !!
After 5 long years of unquestionable loyal servitude, I finally had to 'pensioned' off my ever reliable Vaio laptop. It is a sad sad moment indeed, sob sob sob . . Todays ever demanding & power hungry applications have indeed been a burden too far for an old creaky and arthritic 900Mhz processor to handle. May he find peace and happiness in my 7 year old son's room (well - I hope!).

My recent acquisition of a super dupa Intel 2GHz Core Duo Apple MacBook Pro will see through those 'bloat'wares. No longer will I have to wait an hour for a programme to install or indeed a day for Norton to finish peering through the skirts of the files looking for 'uninvited' viruses. I shall pray the Apple will be as loyal as the Vaio.
